Built with Lapua brass casings, the Defiant Munitions .223 Defiant Defensive Match is a 55 grain, polymer-tipped match, boat tail bullet. This projectile expands rapidly for an early devastating wound channel, while providing light to medium penetration. With a Ballistic Coefficient of .271, this load is also a great choice for medium range varmint hunting and self-defense. This load features a muzzle velocity of 3,100 feet per second and 1,174 ft/lbs of muzzle energy, as tested in an 18 inch, 1 in 8 twist barrel.
